Buying gifts for anyone can be tricky, but men can be especially difficult. Many men consider themselves to be simple or easy to shop for but that’s not always the case. Every man is different and many are pretty self-sufficient and tend to just buy things when they need or want them.
However, there are some items men just don’t think to get for themselves or may not buy because it’s not something they “need”. Check out this list for items that the guy you are shopping for will love.

1. Event tickets
One of the best ways to spend a date night is to get out and do something special. Many times men are the ones to plan and pay for these dates so it’s a treat when you do it. Bonus points if you pick an event he likes but you don’t particularly care for.
If you are shopping for your father, brother or friend you can always buy him two tickets or a gift card for enough for two (or more) tickets. Maybe he’ll even decide to take you with him!
It could be a basketball game, UFC fight, concert, movie, a comedy show or pretty much anything that’s he’s been wanting to do or enjoys doing. Many guys get so focused on the routine of work and home life that they forget about the event they wanted to go to or just don’t feel it’s a big deal.
You can always go to their favorite comedy club or theater to get the tickets and of course you can get many tickets online pretty easily from the event’s website or a 3rd party. Many will even let you send them as a gift. If you aren’t 100% sure of an event he wants to go to or if you are worried about the dates that will work for him just get him a gift card for the place or the website.

2. Beard or Shaving Kit
Many men care a great deal about the hair on their face. Some like it long, some like none, but all of them do some sort of maintenance to keep the look they enjoy.
If he has a beard he probably also has some sort of beard trimmer. If he doesn’t he probably needs and wants one. You can spoil him buy getting him a really nice trimmer or even a beard kit. Many of these come with beard brush, oils and creams to help him get his beard to grow the length he wants it. And bonus for you, no more scruffy, itchy beard!

The key is to know a little something about what he likes and maybe even needs since each man is different.

Yes, you read that right! Body care isn’t just for women. Many men enjoy smelling good and feeling clean. Some men need a little help in this area mostly because they don’t always know where to start or many might not feel comfortable going into stores like Bath and Body Works to find things for themselves.
You typically don’t have to worry too much about if they like the scent if you’re dating or married because many men will wear whatever you like just because you like it. The goal for them is to smell good for the woman they care about.
If it’s not a guy your dating then it’s always good to find out a general idea of what he likes. Generally men’s scents don’t vary as much as women’s though so there is a good chance you’ll get something he likes.
