Jewelry
Let’s start with the good stuff! Most women love jewelry, but can you get a decent piece for less than $50?
You’re not going to be able to get her diamonds, but you can get some gems that look almost real in sterling silver or gold plated, so it’s still good quality.
And to be honest, I actually prefer the fake stuff because I don’t feel bad if I lose or break it!
You can get a gorgeous heart necklace for less than $50. Heart necklaces are a great traditional Valentine’s Day gift since it’s an expression of your love for that person.
Another great idea is a bracelet. Stick to sterling silver or gold plated so it won’t turn her wrist green, no one likes that.
Couples Game
This gift is basically date night in a box (minus the food and wine). There are many different options on how to play, but many of these games focus on getting to know each other better and growing in communication with one another. Even if you’ve been together for years you might be surprised at what you learn!
Wine
This can be a great addition to another gift you have already given her or it is a great stand alone gift as well. The price greatly varies as you get a get a good bottle of wine at the grocery store from a brand like Barefoot or Yellowtail for around $5-$10. Those are great additions to a gift you feel needs a little more.
If she loves wine you can splurge a bit and get here something really nice and unique. Chocolate
This is a traditional gift but you can definitely class it up a bit! A traditional heart shaped box of chocolates is nice, especially if it’s the good quality ones, but sometimes that can get a little boring.
Try something like these Chocolate Covered Strawberries or Chocolate Covered Cookies for a unique chocolate gift she will love (and hopefully share with you!)
Coupon Book
These are awesome because you can make one for free at home on your computer! Just pull up a template on MS Word or whatever program you have. You can also go to a site like Canva and make some online for free!
Basically, you just want to give coupons for things she might like. For example: “One Foot Rub”, “One Week of Doing All the Dishes” or “Date Night of Your Choice”.
Get creative! What is something she needs? If she’s a stay-at-home mom and constantly working with the kids, maybe make her a coupon that says “One Night of No Parental Duties”. If she’s been stressed out lately make her one that says “One Bubble Bath” and prepare a really nice bubble bath when she decides to use it.
