Or book yourself an appointment at a professional spa and let them do the pampering. There is no wrong way to do a spa day, it’s completely up to you what you!
2. Get a Massage
You don’t need to have a spouse in order to get a massage! In fact, professional massages are typically way better than one your love gives you. When it’s a professional they know what they are doing and they don’t get tired after 10 minutes!
You can schedule a massage for an hour or sometimes even two hours if you like! They will make sure to work on any spots where you are holding tension or have pain. Don’t be afraid to communicate and let them know what you want or where you have pain, it’s their job and many take it seriously.
3. Write Yourself a Love Letter
At first, this might feel weird, but give it a chance. You have to love yourself before you can fully love others right?
What do you love about yourself? What makes you special and unique? What do you have to offer the world?
Grab a journal or just open up a word document on your computer and write out what you love about yourself, just as if you were writing to someone you love.
If you are having trouble with forgiving yourself or struggling with insecurity over your looks or failures, this is a perfect time to reconcile those feelings and let yourself know that you forgive yourself and that you are beautiful. Deep down you know that you are doing the best you can with the life you’ve been given, we all are. We all make mistakes and we all desire and deserve love. You can go on a day trip or just stay home in your pj’s all day. The point is to allow yourself extra time to do something you enjoy while you restore yourself and relax.
6. Shopping Spree/Retail Therapy

The perk of getting out and taking a walk or a hike is it allows you to connect with nature, yourself and God. There is a peace that overcomes you when you are in the middle of nature and just allow yourself to soak up the sun and breathe in the fresh air.
